Day 1 : Arrowtown to Queenstown (35km / 4hrs)

Check in to our shop at 8.50am for a prompt 9am departure.

Head out on a scenic 25 minute drive to Arrowtown. Be fitted to your bike, given trail tips, a map and safety briefing then depart on your independent adventure ride.

Explore Arrowtown and grab a coffee before setting off to ride at your leisure along the Arrow River Bridges Trail toward Morven Ferry Intersection. Next, follow the Twin Rivers Trail along the Kawarau and Shotover Rivers to the shores of Lake Wakatipu and onward to Queenstown Bay where you can return your bike to our shop at 9 Duke Street. Riding is all done on purpose built gravel cycle trail. Riding on this trail is interesting, easy and fun.

Day 2: Jacks Point to Queenstown (25km / 3+hrs)

Check in to our shop at 11.20am for a prompt 11.30am departure.

Shuttle with us to Jack’s Point and then ride the edge of Lake Wakatipu for approximately 3 hours back into Queenstown. This cycle trail section is entertaining, undulating and very scenic. This ride is more technically demanding than the rest of the Queenstown Trail for the first 5 or 6km, so take your time as you warm into the ride.

Day 3: Bike The Wineries Full Day (18-25km)

Check in to our shop at 8.50am for a prompt 9.00am departure.

This Full Day Self-Guided Tour begins with a scenic shuttle transfer from Queenstown to the quaint gold mining village of Arrowtown. Here we cover mountain bike fitting, navigation, bike safety and very importantly; winery information. Choose to enjoy one of the many great cafes and explore Arrowtown or get straight into your scenic morning ride along the beautiful Arrow and Kawarau Rivers to the Kawarau Suspension Bridge – home of the world famous Bungy jump.

From Bungy spend the afternoon biking at your leisure along the Gibbston River Trail using our informative winery map to visit as many of the 8+ wineries linked throughout this easy riding trail. Enjoy a relaxed lunch en-route or picnic at one of the many Wineries.

We will pick you up at 4:30pm from Gibbston Tavern (or another pre-arranged point in the valley) for your relaxing vehicle transfer back to Queenstown.
